The personnel of ministries will include by a state secretary who will ensure the functional ties between the institution’s administration, the public servants and the subdivisions of the central apparatus. The implementation of ministries’ strategic activity directions will be monitored and assessed, IPN reports.
A bill to this effect was approved by the Government on February 19. The secretary will have the status of executive public functionary of senior level and will be selected at a contest by a commission.
By April 1, the State Chancellery will work out and transmit to ministries a model card for the post of state secretary, who will receive a salary of 7,400 to 9,600 lei.
The post will be instituted in the 15 of the 16 ministries as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration has a secretary general.
