The candidate for premiership Natalia Gavrilița presented her team alongside which she will come to Parliament to ask for a vote of confidence. Among the proposed ministers are current presidential advisers and MPs of the Party of Action and Solidarity whose vice president is the designated candidate, IPN reports.
Viorel Cibotaru, the former leader of the Liberal Democratic Party, was suggested for Deputy Prime Minster for Reintegration. He is an expert in security and conflict regulation, ex-minister of defense. As the programs director of the Institute for Public Policy, he managed a number of projects and researches in reintegration and strengthening of the confidence-building measures on both sides of the Nistru.
Rozalina Albu, expert in administration, budget and financial consultancy, was proposed for Minister of Finance. She has worked in the public and private sectors for over 15 years. In 2019, she served as head of staff at the Ministry of Finance, while in 2008-2012 managed the budget and multiannual forecasts division.
MP and PAS vice president Sergiu Litvinenco was nominated for minister of justice. Since June until November 2019, he headed the commission on appointments and immunities and was later a member of this commission. Before entering Parliament, he worked in the public administration system and for a number of projects financed by the World Bank, UNDP, UNICEF.
MP and PAS vice present Mihai Popșoi was proposed for minister of foreign affairs and European integration. He holds the title of doctor of political studies from the University of Milan and is a member of the Foreign Policy Association of Moldova.
Winemaker Ion Luca, who has over 15 years’ experience in winemaking and management of agricultural projects, was suggested for minister of agriculture, regional development and environment. In 2010, he founded Casa Vinicola Luca and Carpe Diem Wines.
Presidential adviser Ala Nemerenco was proposed for minister of health, labor and social protection. She held this post earlier. She worked for the WHO Country Office and was a consultant of the WHO and other international organizations in the Balkans and Central Asia, and personal adviser to the minister of health of Romania.
Presidential adviser Ana Revenco was nominated for minister of home affairs. She was the executive director of the International Center “La Strada” Moldova. In 2012-2015, she headed the Center for Combatting Trafficking in Persons of the Ministry of Home Affairs, while in 2013-2015, he organized the implementation of the action plan for liberalizing the visa regime with the EU on behalf of the General Police Inspectorate.
Secretary of the presidential administration Andrei Spînu was proposed for minister of the economy and infrastructure. In 2019, he held the post of secretary general of the Government, while in 2015-2016 he served as deputy minister for youth and sport. He is an ICT businessman.
Anatolie Nosatyi, military man who worked for over 30 years for the National Army and for international military organizations, was suggested for minister of defense. Until 2020, he headed the Operations Division of the General Staff of the National Army.
Among the members of the Government proposed by Natalia Gavrilița is the current secretary of state at the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research Anatolie Topală, who is proposed for minister. In 2015-2019, he managed the National Agency for Curriculum and Assessment, while since 2013 until 2015 he headed the Quality Assurance Agency.
