Ministers Alexandru Tanase and Anatol Salaru vacate seats of MP

Minister of Justice Alexandru Tanase and Minister of Transport and Road Infrastructure Anatol Salaru renounced the legislative seats. After accepting the resignations tendered by the two ministers, the Parliament declared the vacated seats vacant, Info-Prim Neo reports. Thus, there are no more persons in Parliament who hold simultaneously the post of minister and of MP. “I hope you will continue work for thee years and a half more,”Anatol Salaru told the MPs. This week, the Constitutional Court validated the seats of eight new MPs who replaced the eight ministers, including Premier Vlad Filat, who vacated their legislative seats.
