The Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Nicu Popescu, is paying a working visit to Berlin on September 15-17. Within its framework, the head of the Moldovan diplomacy will address several topics, including the continuation of the high-level Moldovan-German dialogue, the strengthening of bilateral relations in several areas, as well as ensuring Germany's support for the European path of the Republic of Moldova, IPN reports.
A MAEIE press release mentions that in Berlin, minister Nicu Popescu will hold talks with his German counterpart, Heiko Maas, but also with other officials from the Bundestag, the Federal Chancellery, the Office of the Federal President and representatives of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation.
The program also includes a public speech supported by the head of the Moldovan diplomacy at the German Foreign Policy Association on the subject of the democratic reforms initiated by the Government in Chisinau and the role of the EU in their successful implementation.
