A number of 321 electoral competitors were registered in single-member constituencies for the parliamentary elections of February 24. Of these, 57 run independently, while 264 represent a party or an electoral bloc, IPN reports, quoting the Central Election Commission.
In 15 constituencies, there are by six competitors, in 11 by five. Ten constituencies will have by seven candidates, while six constituencies by eight. In five constituencies, there were registered by four competitors, in two constituencies by 13, in one constituency three competitors and in another constituency nine competitors.
By 13 candidates will run in single-member constituency No. 50 westwards Moldova and in single-member constituency No. 51 U.S and Canada. Only three candidates will run in single-member constituency No. 4 Râșcani.
The files of 37 aspirants were rejected.
