Minibuses running on routes in Chisinau to undergo technical overhaul

The first stage of the technical overhaul for minibuses and busses running on routes in Chisinau will last during April 11 – 20. An order to this effect was made by Mayor General of Chisinau Dorin Chirtoaca, Info-Prim Neo reports. The minibuses and buses that will not meet the technical norms will be removed from routes. The units of transport will be examined at the seven Chisinau service stations authorized by the Auto Transport Agency. After the technical overhaul is over, the Public Transport and Communications Division will annul the authorizations for the units of transport that will not be presented for examination. The technical overhaul of minibuses and buses takes place two times a year – in spring and in autumn. More than 1,800 minibuses run on routes in Chisinau municipality.
