Minibus running between Tighina and Varnitsa stopped at border crossing point

The minibus that runs between Tighina and Varnitsa this morning has stayed at the border crossing point in Varnitsa for about half an hour. Usually, the documents are checked during about 5 minutes. The Transnistrian border guards did not provide explanations for the delay, a Transnistrian resident, Vladimir Meleca has told Info-Prim Neo over the phone. According to Vladimir Meleca, the queues at the border crossing point in Varnitsa are over a kilometer long. Many of the Transnistrians who wanted to vote in the referendum in Chisinau, went back, being tired of waiting. The Transnistrian administration hindered the holding of the plebiscite in Corjova village, which is partly under the Moldovan constitutional authorities’ control. This morning, the Central Election Commission adopted a decision allowing the Corjova residents to vote at polling places in Cocieri, Ustia and Chisinau under additional lists.
