Minibus drivers who worked on annulled routes fined

Patrolling inspectors drew up 27 reports against minibus drivers for transporting passengers in the absence of a relevant permit. This violation is punished with a fine of 2,400 to 2,800 lei, IPN reports.

According to the National Patrolling Inspectorate, the drivers working illegally were fined following an order made by the Chisinau City Hall, by which the minibus routes. No 102, 105, 109, 110, 130, 160, and 155 are annulled.

Each of the route administrators received by a prescription warning to stop the illegal passenger transportation activity. If they do not comply, they will be fined 8,000 to 9,000 lei.

The National Patrolling Inspectorate will continue the inspections. The municipal minibus routes No.155, 105 and 102 complied with the City Hall’s decision. The drivers on the other routes continue to work illegally.
