Milsami distanced itself again from Petrocub by two points after beating Zimbru 1-0. The only goal was scored by Igor Lambarschi in the 57th minute, IPN reports.
“The goal shouldn’t have been validated. It was a foul on goalkeeper Șmalenea,” Zimbru coach Vlad Goian told a news conference.
Sheriff climbed to the third spot after defeating FC Florești 4-0. It happened after FC Bălți lost at home to Dinamo-Auto 2-4.
The next stage was arranged for September 25-26. The schedule is: Dinamo-Auto - Sheriff, Zimbru - Sfîntul Gheorghe, FC Florești - Milsami and Petrocub - FC Bălți.
