Milsami Orhei reached the quarterfinals of Moldova’s Football Cup. The “red eagles” beat at home Victoria Chisinau of Division A by 7-1, IPN reports.
The guests opened the score in the 8th minute through Ion Pavlov. Milsami replied swiftly through the goals scored by Vasile Jardan in the 11th minute and Ion Dragan in the 15th minute. The second half turned into a recital of Artiom Puntus, who managed to score four times. Another goal was scored by fullback Vasile Jardan.
“In the second half, we played in a more synchronized way, after the entrance of Artiom Puntus and Vitus Amougui,” said the coach of Milsami Sergey Dubrovin.
Elsewhere, Codru Lozova defeated Division A team FC Cahul 1-0. The only goal was scored by Russian player Nikolai Vdovichenko in the 58th minute. The other matches of the 1/8 finals are played today, October 28.
