Iurie Osipenco replaced Gheorghi Iartsev as the coach of Milsami. The former coach of the national team of Russia didn’t manage to bring Milsami in the European cups and thus had to leave.
At the end of the last season, Osipenco trained the team instead of Iartsev, who had health problems then, IPN reports. “I want more discipline in Milsami. I want to create a new team,” the new coach stated for the team’s official website. The 39-year-old coach will be helped by Oleg Shishchin and Nicolae Mincev, while Sergiu Dinov will train the goalkeepers.
Thirteen players have left Milsami, with Gheorghe Boghiu being the most significant loss. The team’s top scorer in the last three years signed for FC Tiraspol. Milsami will prepare for the new season at the sports complex “Sheriff” in Tiraspol. According to the team’s deputy manager Petru Jardan, the objective of Milsami is to win the championship.
