Moldova is threatened by the process of federalization that is directed and supported by Moscow, the leader of the Democratic Action Party (PAD) Mihai Godea said in the talk show “Pahomi” on Realitatea TV channel, IPN reports.
According to Godea, the Party of Socialists is the key instrument of the Kremlin in its policy aimed at federalizing Moldova and this party achieved considerable results in this respect. “The PSRM is a messenger of the Kremlin. The phantom of federalization is threatening our state. This federalization is wanted by Russia and is implemented by Igor Dodon’s party. Regretfully, Dodon manages successfully to carry out Moscow’s policy here,” he stated.
Mihai Godea gave as example the recent Governor elections in Gagauzia. “Chisinau lost to Moscow in Gagauzia. The Party of Socialists now controls the situation and dictates the rules in Comrat. I know personally Irina Vlah as she was a colleague of mine in Parliament. She does not have the qualities of a state functionary and didn’t distinguish herself when she was in Parliament. I don’t know if she will be a generator of ideas or c creator of ideas. It is strange as Irina Vlah is different from the one who speaks now. If we take away the sound, we will find another Irina Vlah,” he stated.
The leader of the PAD criticized the bill that offers the status of national-cultural district to Taraclia. “I’m afraid that by granting this status to this district, there will be formed another autonomous unit, while Chisinau will wash its hands and will forget about this region for a long time on, as it forgot about Gagauzia after this was given the status of autonomous unit,” he said.
