Unaffiliated MP Mihai Godea hasn’t yet made up hid mind whether to support candidate for Prime Minister Iurie Leanca or not. He has told IPN that his decision will depend on the developments. “I think it is too early to pronounce. We will follow attentively what the former partners will do,” said the lawmaker. He also said he is skeptical that the new Government will be invested.
“I saw how the work done by Mister Leanca for three years and a half was wiped out. I feel sorry for Iurie Leanca as I respect him. He is one of the few members of the previous Cabinet who were efficient and worked a lot. It’s a pity that his prestige will go through the immorality of our political games,” he stated.
Iurie Leanca was designated as a candidate for premiership by presidential decree on May 15.
