The leader of the Liberal Party (PL) Mihai Ghimpu said the party he heads is ready to vote Iurie Leanca Prime Minister, but their decision will depend on the composition of the Cabinet that is to be formed. He made such a statement in the talk show “Important” TVC 21 channel, IPN reports.
Mihai Ghimpu noted he is ready to vote for Iurie Leanca, but he cannot say the same about the whole Government. “The decision is not yet definitive. This will be a Leanca Government, a government of the PLDM and PDM. We will see first the candidates for the posts of 16 ministers and agency heads and will then decide. If it is convenient for us, we will vote. For us, it’s not a problem to vote Leanca separately. But we must vote the whole Cabinet,” added the Liberal leader.
In the same program, Mihai Ghimpu harshly criticized the appeal of the Liberal-Democratic leader Vlad Filat to the Liberal Party, made on a social networking site, whereby the PL is urged to vote for the Leanca Government. “Filat’s appeal represents mockery and was made only in order to blame the Liberal Party in case of failure. It is a new trick of Filat, aimed at fooling the people and the European partners. Such messages are not transmitted over Facebook,” he stated.
