The Moldovan singer Mihaela Chisnencu has won the trophy of the national contest “Ministar Ciresar 2009”, which recently took place in Bucharest, Info-Prim Neo reports. It's the second trophy Mihaela wins in 2009. The young singer says she will not stop here. She's already attending another festival in Romania, “Portativul veseliei”, hoping to represent Moldova with dignity. “After several trophies won in that country, I have made a name that I want to keep. It will be a homage brought to my teacher, the departed composer Anatol Roscovan,” Mihaela says. She competed among 27 contestants in “Ministar Ciresar 2009” and managed to impress the jury and the audience. Romanian composer Claudiu Bulete, a member of the jury, has told Info-Prim Neo, the Basarabian talents have always been highly appreciated in Romania, especially because they really demonstrate exceptional performance. “I am certain Mihaela will have a brilliant future in the Romanian light music,” Claudiu Bulete said. “The Craiova contest is difficult, it has two stages. Only 8 contestants of 18 will remain to sing in the final,” Mihaela says. “I will sing the song specially written for me by poet Grigore Vieru and composer Anatol Roscovan: “Va iubesc si zbor”. God willing, I will sing a song from my international repertoire in the final stage,” the singer says. Mihaela Chisnencu will sing in the international festival “Trixie – 2009” from Bulgaria in August, and has been invited to 2 Romanian TV talk shows.
