A project supported by Italy and the European Union will be launched in Moldova to facilitate the process of integrating the persons who go to the peninsula to reunite with their family. The project Form@ is implemented concomitantly in ten countries of origin of immigrants living in Italy, who asked for the reunification of the family, namely the Republic of Moldova, Ukraine, Albania, China, Egypt, Ecuador, Morocco, Peru, Senegal, and Tunisia, IPN reports.
Vasile Tarata, who is responsible for the project Form@ in Moldova, said the goal is to facilitate the reunification of the family by training, before reaching Italy, through the agency of a system of services that includes information and assistance in the process of managing the entrance, civic-linguistic formation and orientation procedures.
The project will last for two years and is based on cooperation between the Employers of Italy (INCA, INAS, ITAL, A.C.L.I.), Italian state institutions – the Ministry of the Interior, Ministry of Labor and Social Policies and Ministry of Foreign Affairs – and embassies and consular offices.
Within the project, the participants can benefit from direct assistance in the country of origin in preparing the documents and following the procedures needed to legally enter Italy and can obtain linguistic and civic skills that will facilitate the fulfillment of the commitments that they will assume by signing the integration agreement when entering Italy.
The linguistic formation is supported by the use of a multilingual application for gaining linguistic competence (levels A1 and A2, in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages). The civic-linguistic and cultural formation includes informing about the rights of migrants and minors, etc.
