The Metropolitan Church of Chisinau and all Moldova is gathering schoolbags and schools supplies for offering them to disadvantaged families. The campaign entitled “Help a child to go to school!” will last until August 30, IPN reports.
The Metropolitan Church calls on the people of good faith to donate a schoolbag with supplies, such as ten math notebooks, ten Romanian notebooks, a music notebook, a pencil box, a set of colored pens, five pens, a set of watercolors and two paint brushes, dry clay, simple pencils, a ruler, a set of covers, an eraser and a pencil sharpener.

The results of the campaign will be summed up on August 30, while the presents will be handed over at the Social-Missionary Center at the Chisinau Cathedral “Saint Friday” on August 31.
