The National House of Social Insurance on April 18 changed the method of issuing certificates concerning the offering of state child benefit. Now the applicants can file an application to any local house of social insurance and will be given an answer immediately. These certificates are needed for being presented to the Romanian authorities, IPN reports.
According to a press release of the House, the applicants will now be able to apply for such certificates at any local house of social insurance, regardless of the domicile specified in the identification papers. The application must be accompanied by the applicant’s identity card and the child’s birth certificate. A power of attorney is also needed if the application is submitted by a legal representative.
Earlier, the given certificates were issued only at the head office of the National House of Social Insurance.
