The merger process between Victoriabank and Banca Comerciala Romana Chisinau (BCR) has been successfully completed. The National Bank of Moldova states that following the completion of the absorption procedure, BCR’s license will be withdrawn. The decision is set to be published in the Official Gazette, IPN reports.
“This merger strengthens the banking market in the Republic of Moldova, and BCR Chisinau clients will continue to be assisted by Victoriabank”, the National Bank notes.
Victoriabank will manage accounts, deposits, loans, and other banking products. BCR Chisinau clients will receive information regarding Victoriabank’s products and services.
