Two residents of Chisinau were sentenced to ten years in jail each for beating to death a man aged 77. It happened in the yard of Saint Friday Church last winter, IPN reports.
According to the Prosecutor General’s Office, the culprits were under the influence of alcohol when they committed the crime. They were convicted of causing serious bodily injuries that resulted in the victim’s death.
The convicts are aged 30 and, respectively, 57.
