Two men from Octeaberscoe village of Sangerei district lost their lives when taking a sauna. A SMURD team travelled to the scene. According to the preliminary reports, the men died from carbon monoxide poisoning, IPN reports.
According to the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service, the men aged 36 and 46 were found lying unconscious on the floor in a sauna in the evening of February 6.
During 90 minutes, the rescuers struggled to resuscitate them, but their efforts failed.
The Civil Protection and Emergencies Service repeatedly warns the population to respect the rules of using heating sources and recommends checking the heating installations and avoiding using defective ones.
