The councilor of the group of the Electoral Bloc “Europeans People’s Platform – Iurie Leanca” on the Chisinau Municipal Council Victor Lutenko tendered his resignation. He said that he will not yet give up his ideas and will continue to become involved, IPN reports.
“Today I handed over my resignation from the post of Chisinau municipal councilor. I wish good luck, inspiration and will to my colleagues from the Council, the executive and civil society. I managed to implement many ideas, objectives and plans, while others remained yet unimplemented. But I do not give up. I will continue to become involved, to help and to contribute as much as I can. I thank a lot all those who trusted me and with whom I worked together and managed to improve things,” Victor Lutenco wrote on a social networking site.
The next substitute candidate on the list of the Electoral Bloc “Europeans People’s Platform – Iurie Leanca” is ex-minister of culture and ex-MP Gennady Ciobanu, composer and professor at the Academy of Music, Theater and Plastic Arts.
