The medical institutions managed by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection during the public holidays of December 31, January 1, 7 and 8 will work as usual, IPN reports.
According to the Ministry, the administration of each institution will take care to name personnel on guard and responsible managerial staffs by supplementary working timetable for the period of the public holidays and will also ensure the necessary reserves of medicines, consumables, food and oil products for the uninterrupted activity of medical institutions on these days.
The National Blood Transfusion Center will provide the health facilities with the necessary blood products, while the Legal Medicine Center will offer medical-legal assistance as usual.
The Agency for Medicines and Medical Devices, by its subordinate bodies, will reserve drugs and consumables and will organize their delivery to public health facilities if need be.
