Given the low temperatures in the cold period of the year and the high risk of hypothermia, the municipal authorities ordered to organize and provide services to lodge homeless persons at the Center for Persons without a Stable Domicile round-the-clock, seven days a week, between October 15, 2017 and April 15, 2018, IPN reports.
Under an order signed by the acting mayor of Chisinau municipality Nistor Grozavu, the Center’s administration has the task of outfitting the place in accordance with the needs of the admitted beneficiaries.
The acting mayor also ordered to set up a working group for monitoring the provision of services to persons without a shelter at the Center in the mentioned period. Maria Diaconu, senior specialist of the Sector Analysis and Monitoring Division, will head the group.
