The authorities in Chisinau ordered the managers of schools and kindergartens to take additional measures to prevent infection with the novel coronavirus. Contacted by IPN, deputy mayor Angela Kutasevich said medical assistants will examine each child who will enter the institution in the morning. If there are suspected cases of infection, the children will be isolated until the parents come and these will be recommended to see a doctor.
The medical assistants will also examine the teachers. If need be, the medical personnel of schools will seek help from medical assistants of public health facilities.
The personnel of schools will make sure that the toilet facilities are outfitted with soap. Personal hygiene rules will be posted inside them. The “Health Hour” lesson centering on personal hygiene habits will be taught this week.
