The mayor of Condrita village Andrei Donica said that after 100 days of government, Prime Minister Dorin Recean and President Maia Sandu should resign. The mayor, who heads the sociopolitical movement “Stop Genocide”, which is the lawful successor of the political party Professional Movement “Speranța-Nadejda” (Hope), said the authorities cause billions of lei damage to the citizens by different stratagems and schemes. Andrei Donica also demands to hold snap parliamentary elections simultaneously with the local elections of this autumn.

In a news conference hosted by IPN, Andrei Donica said the genocide manifests itself at economic level. The people are exposed to dying when they are forced to economize on medicines, food and other bare essentials. The pensions and other social allowances do not cover by far the real necessities. It is contempt on the part of the government.

The mayor noted that parties that play the ‘politics’ game, mount protests at which they demand to pay the people’s bills, say what should be done but do not do anything stepped into the limelight. Unlike those protesters, he, as the mayor of Condrița, acts and identified financial resources for providing support to vulnerable groups by covering their utility bills and in the form of other types of assistance.

Andrei Donica also said that he will sue the state in court because it does not ensure decent living conditions for the vulnerable population. He called on the persons in difficulty to contact him if they need legal assistance.

“Starting with June 3, anyone can telephone me or write message to me on 079773403. This way, together we will stop the genocide. Our sociopolitical movement is different from other political parties. We will take action and will do our best to show that we can help the people,” stated Andrei Donica.
