Mayor of Chisinau proposes modifying procedure for granting compensations for transport

Mayor of Chisinau Dorin Chirtoaca suggested modifying the regulations concerning the provision of compensations for trips by public units of transport, Info-Prim Neo reports. At Monday's meeting of the Chisinau services and divisions, the mayor said the City Hall will submit a draft decision to the City Council, proposing that the pensioners who earn more than 1,450 lei a month should continue receiving 70 lei for trips by public units of transport, while those who earn less than 1,450 should be offered the possibility of choosing between a monthly season ticket and the sum of 70 lei. A monthly season ticket for trips by trolleybus now costs 150 lei. The season ticket for students is 70 lei.
