The driver who fatally injured a 14-year-old teenager in Nisporeni district on Monday evening was detained. According to the police, this is the mayor of Bolduresti, while the car involved in the accident is a company car, IPN reports.
The General Police Inspectorate said the driver fled the scene, trying to mislead the police. He placed the license plate on a brand car identical to the one involved in the accident, a white Dacia Duster. The car was being chased and the suspect disconnected his mobile phone and did not go home or to work.
