Wrestler Maxim Saculțan won the bronze medal at the Under 23 World Championship for the second consecutive year. He won three matches at Budapest.
Saculțan was only defeated once by the future winner of the 65 kg weight category, Azeri Turan Bayramov. In the match for the bronze medal, the Moldavian wrestler defeated the Frenchman Ilman Mukhtarov.
Ivan Nedealco and Samhan Jabrailov will compete today in re-qualification matches. They compete in the 86 kg and 125 kg weight categories.
