After excluding goalkeeper Eugen Matiughin, Dacia patron Adlan Shishanov decided halfback Maxim Mihaliov, who missed the penalty in the match against FC Costuleni that ended by 0-0, should no longer play for the team, IPN reports.

“I spent €17,000 on the operation that this footballer underwent in Germany, but he plays worse and worse,” Adlan Shishanov stated for a TV channel.

The patron of Dacia regrets that the penalty in the match against FC Costuleni wasn’t performed by another player of the ‘yellow wolves’. As a result of this draw, Dacia slipped to the seventh position in the rankings. In order to remedy the situation, Adlan Shishanov intends to bring new players to the team.

Dacia’s contract with Mihaliov expires in a year, but the footballer will have to look for a new team this winter. He is 27 and was transferred from Iskra-Stal to Dacia in January 2011. The halfback scored 17 goals for Dacia in the championship and two in the UEFA Europa League, in the matches against Celje and Elfsborg.
