The wearing of protective masks in public places in the Transnistrian region became mandatory. Those who do not obey face fines or even administrative detention. The measure was introduced even if the locals complain that the masks are not available from drugstores, IPN reports.
The local press reported that the wearing of protective face masks in public places, transit transport, stores and other crowded places is mandatory for the period of the quarantine.
Those who will not comply face a fine of at most 460 Transnistrian rubles or administrative detention for 15 days. In the case of individual enterprises, such a violation is punished with a fine of at most 5,520 rubles or with suspension of activity for a period of at most 90 days.
