The 16 concerts planned to be given as part of the 55th “Martsishor” Festival cannot be held with the presence of spectators given the restrictions imposed by the National Extraordinary Public Health Commission. The announced events will be available online or on the public TV channel and the organizers already started to return the tickets, IPN reports.

The festival was to be inaugurated at the National Palace “Nicolae Sulac” on March 1. The institution’s administration informed that the planned performances will not be held at the palace, but can be followed live on Moldova 1 and on the Facebook page of “OCI Moldova-Concert”. The bought tickets can be returned to the booking offices of the National Palace.

The National Philharmonic “Sergey Lunchevici” also informed that the planned events will be broadcast live on Moldova 2 and those who bought tickets can return them and will get their money back as from March 1.

The Organ Hall also returns the money for the bought ticket and will move its concerts to the online environment.

By its decision of February 26, the National Extraordinary Public Health Commission banned the physical presence of spectators in theater-concert halls and houses of culture.
