Communist lawmaker Mark Tkachuk decided to vacate his seat. The announcement was made by Speaker Igor Corman at the beginning of the May 23 sitting of Parliament, IPN reports.
The reasons for such a decision weren’t made public.
The leader of the Communist parliamentary group Vladimir Voronin intervened, saying that he urges all the traitors of the Communist Party who earlier left the party to do the same, namely to vacate their seats, as this is the right thing to do.
