Shor Party MP Marina Tauber made accusations against the government, saying the President and the Premier plan to stage military provocations on the border with the Transnistrian region on April 17. In reaction, the Government said the MP’s assertions are false and form part of constant narrative aimed at promoting fear and division in society, IPN reports.
“Maia Sandu and Dorin Recean prepare military provocations on the border with the Transnistrian region. These were planned for April 17, the day after Easter. The date for this diabolic plan was chosen not accidently but intentionally by these cynics as it is a great feast day and the people will celebrate at home together with the family,” Marina Tauber stated in a press briefing. She noted that foreign citizens are also expected to take part in these military provocations.
In reply, the spokesman for the Government Daniel Vodă said that Marina Tauber’s allegations are false and form part of their constant narrative aimed at promoting fear and division in society. “Mister Tauber tries to justify the total failure of the paid protests before the backers. The state institutions work to prevent such provocations and keep the situation under control,” he stated.
