Marian Lupu to pay official visit to Bucharest

Head of Parliament and Acting President of Moldova Marian Lupu goes on an official two-day visit to Romania on April 28, at the invitation of Romania's President Traian Basescu, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to the presidential press service, Marian Lupu will have meetings with high-ranking Romanian officials. The aim of the visit is to develop the bilateral relations between the two countries and to obtain Romania's sustainable support for Moldova's European integration aspirations. The program of the visit includes meetings with President Traian Basescu, chairman of the Senate Mircea Geoana, chairman of the Chamber of Deputies Roberta Anastase, Prime Minister Emil Boc and leaders of the parliamentary groups. Marian Lupu will also meet with Romanian businessmen and potential investors through the agency of the Chamber of Trade and Industry of Romania. The Moldovan delegation includes lawmakers, members of the Government and businesspersons.
