The Democratic leader Marian Lupu Thursday told the press that he will put up his candidacy for the presidency even if there is a risk that he will not be elected. Marian Lupu’s intention to run for the presidency was welcomed publicly by the leader of the Liberal Democratic Party. “I wish him success, if he wins 61 votes. If he does not, we will have early elections,” said Vlad Filat.
