The chairman of the PDM Marian Lupu said that a second attempt will be soon made and the Government will be voted in. The PDM will have talks with the PL if the discussions are held without blackmail and pressure. The Democratic leader made the statements after the February 12 sitting of Parliament, where the Leanca II Government could not be invested, IPN reports.

“I came optimistic to today’s sitting because I was informed about the latest discussions with the PL and about the statements made by the candidate nominated for premiership. The news inspired confidence. I will not provide details and profound analyses because the reasons for the failure are evident. Not the reason and responsibility, but the stubbornness and vainglory of some from the PL prevailed,” stated Marian Lupu.

According to the politician, his impression is that there are two parties in Parliament that want early elections – the PSRM and PL.

The Government is voted in by at least 51 votes of MP. Today the Leanca II Government could gain only 42 votes.
