Moldova's acting President Marian Lupu is taking part in the Summit of heads of state/government of the SEECP countries on June 29 and 30. The meeting takes places in Montenegro, Info-Prim Neo reports. Marian Lupu said that Moldova’s participation was an important argument for its European path and for more active involvement in regional cooperation processes. The Summit of heads of state/government of SEECP countries marks the end of Montenegro’ presidency. Next year, Serbia will assume the chairmanship-in-office of the organization. Marian Lupu has scheduled bilateral meetings with heads of state and prime ministers, including the Montenegrin and Serbian presidents. The Summit has as guests representatives of the European Union and of the European Commission, the OSCE chairmanship, the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization, the Stability Pact, the Council of Europe, the World Bank, of the EBRD and EIB, etc.
