The leader of the Democratic Party (PDM) Marian Lupu criticizes the Government for not submitting the draft state budget law and tax policy for 2011 to Parliament. “The political events that will take place in autumn must not affect the country’s economic stability,” Marian Lupu said in a press briefing on August 26, Info-Prim Neo reports. Marian Lupu said the Government was to present the medium-term expenditure framework by April 10, examine and approve the tax policy for next year by May 1, and is to submit the draft state budget law for 2011 to Parliament by October 1. “These documents have not been yet drafted and this is a reason for concern. It is not for the first time that these obligations are not fulfilled. A similar situation was in 2009,” Marian Lupu said. He called on the Government and Parliament to hasten the formulation of these documents so as not to break the law.
