“If the Alliance for European Integration (AEI) falls apart, no money will come from the foreign donors,” the leader of the Democratic Party (PDM) Marian Lupu said in the program “Fabrika” on Publika TV, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to Lupu, 70% of the country's budget consists of donations, loans and grants from abroad. “It is not Moldova's economic merit. It is not the merit of the fiscal system or customs system. If the Alliance is dismembered, practically no donations will come from abroad. It will be an economic collapse,” Marian Lupu said. He explained his indulgence to certain actions by the Alliance by the thesis that a partnership in politics is regulated by earlier reached agreements. He made it clear that if the PCRM had not challenged the presidential decree concerning June 28 in court, the PDM might have done it. Speaking about the problems confronting Moldova, Marian Lupu said he did not engage in solving the wine problem because there are susceptible persons in the AEI. “Problems arise if you get involved,” said the Democrat leader. Marian Lupu said he does not agree with the actions taken by Prime Minister Vlad Filat. He stressed that the PDM has fulfilled all the assumed obligations, voting for the Head of Parliament, Prime Minister and Deputy Speaker. He did not rule out that Vlad Filat may be behind other persons who level criticism and accusations against the PDM.
