The day of Monday, March 7, 2016, will be a nonworking day, as provided in a decision taken by the interim Cabinet on December 16. The Ministry of Labor, Social Protection and Family’s proposal to declare March 12, 2016 as working day instead of March 7 was accepted, IPN reports.

The initiative to amend the working timetable meets the provisions of the Labor Code. The Government has the right to transfer the nonworking or working days to other days so as to allow the salary earners to optimally use the nonworking days and holidays.

According to the calendar for 2016, no other working or nonworking days need to be transferred.
