The election campaign is a period without politeness. The campaign ends and the politicians become rational, polite and very attentive to their behavior. These cannot behave after the campaign as during the campaign. That’s why many of the politicians are more cautious about taking hasty decisions, specialist in comparable policies, international relations and propaganda Marc Mazureanu stated in IPN’s public debate “And in the Morning They Woke Up” (by Vasiliy Shukshin). Politological, psychological and sociological aspects of the state of society after the presidential elections”.

According to him, after an election campaign, the politicians, the people in general, are exhausted by hatred, emotions, trips, luring of mates and need a break, a deep sleep after an “electoral bout”. That’s why other parties didn’t react to the incumbent President’s invitation to discuss together the future of the country and of Parliament. “When the call to other parties to form a bloc or a union, to discuss the reality was made, evidently the parties didn’t react as they needed time and space to realize the political effects of the election campaign. I think for a politician it is premature to take decisions the next day. If I was a politician, I would need space and time to see the behavior of other political players, to see the population’s perception of all the political payers and of me, to see how the people re-conceptualize the new political reality so that I coordinate the political actions,” explained Marc Mazureanu.

He noted that the producers of the political message are the party and the political leaders who transmit it in time, calling to reason. “The people understand the idea a party wants to transmit, but it is boring when this is exhibited in programmatic documents. That’s why the politicians use the services of a political strategist, who actually can work now for a party and tomorrow for its opponent. This creates messages, using feelings. The people are reasonable beings, but not much. The reason implies use of time and analysis capacity. The people who have less time to analyze, to study and to go into details accept the message that is usually emotional and is well packaged,” stated Marc Mazureanu.

He underlined that the form, quantity and quality of the messages formulated by the candidates for President were different, as were their type or scope. Some of the messages were formulated very latently and were hidden behind particular slogan. “It’s a pity that there is no legal framework to allow particular people to be contracted to sell particular messages. We regulate the behavior of the TV newsreader, not yet of the one who prompts this.”

The specialist suggested Igor Dodon to embrace Dadaism whose philosophical idea was to destroy in order to free space for new creations. “Would Mister Dodon destroy the whole left in the format in which it is now so as to create space for something new?” asked Marc Mazureanu.
