Man's corpse found in lake in Soroca

A man was found drowned in a lake near Regina Maria village, Soroca district. Still it is not known when the tragedy occurred. The press officer of the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service, Tatiana Corceac, has told Info-Prim Neo the man was some 50 years of age. A Mitsubishi Galant caught fire as running. The incident happened in Cahul town. The driver noticed the smoke ands stopped to call for the fire brigade. The fire was extinguished soon after, as the material loss is only some 1,000 lei. Also in Cahul, a broken electrical device flared up a fire destroying goods in a room. The damage is estimated at 850 lei. In Cupcini town, Edinet district, a short circuit caused a fire in an auxiliary building in a household, while the flares destroyed 60% of an auxiliary building in Rublenita village, Soroca. 5 fires have been recorded last night in Moldova. 1,551 fires have been registered this year,claiming 128 lives, including 9 children, as 112 vehicles have burnt completely or partially.
