Manolachi aspires to at last one medal at European Judo Championship

The national judo team of Moldova went to Montpellier to take part in the European Judo Championship. It includes Valeriu Duminica, Igor Soroca, and Tatiana Osoianu.

“All the three have chances of winning medals. We will be contented with at least one medal as it will be a very good performance,” president of the National Judo Federation Veaceslav Manolachi has told IPN.

Bonze medalist at the European Youth Championship Tatiana Osoianu (48 kg class) will compete on April 24, while Igor Soroca (73 kg class) and Valeriu Duminica (81 kg class) – on April 25. Valeriu Duminica won recently a bronze at the international Grand Prix tournament of Samsun, Turkey.

The European Judo Championship of Montpellier, France, will take place between April 24 and 27.
