They have found many violations of economic order in the activity of the businessman, including tax-evading. According to it, the same day, the manager aged 49 tried to bribe the inspector running the control with 4,000 dollars in order not to start penal proceedings. The manager was arrested in the act. If the court finds him guilty of bribery, manager of “Goiana Petrol & Co” risks 12 years imprisonment sentence. According to the Penitentiary Institutions Department, of those over 100 persons arrested in 2005 for bribery, only one person is atoning penalty.
