The team of the Party “National Alternative Movement” (MAN) led by Ion Ceban aims to attract investments to the municipality of Chisinau by creating another 100 new investment profiles, particularity concerning the improvement of energy security, augmentation of budget incomes and revision of the mechanism of imposing local taxes.
“For the municipality of Chisinau, we approved and implement a predictable and clear fiscal policy. For the first time, only in Chisinau we will review the mechanism of imposing local taxes by keeping last year’s rise of only 6.1% as we cannot exert pressure on business entities by adjusting these taxes to the average inflation rate of 2022, which was of 28.62%. It is very important for the business entities to know this initiative that covers the whole business community of Chisinau,” stated deputy mayor Olga Ursu, a candidate for Chisinau councilor on the MAN’s slate.
The MAN team said the support for young people will be raised within a start-up hub with the capacity of up to 5,000 persons who will be trained in all the entrepreneurial areas. It promises to continuously facilitate access to consultancy services and assistance in business and to offer support for 500 initiated businesses.
“We will increase the stimuli for the young people employed in the public sector. Today we offer by 2,000 lei a month for the purpose and intend to increase this sum. We want the young people to remain at home, to start families and develop business here,” stated Olga Ursu.
She also said that the MAN team will continue to implement large projects estimated at 2.5 billion lei in such areas as energy efficiency, water and sewerage, road infrastructure, waste management and rehabilitation of the Byk river and the adjoining territory.
