A Moldovan was arrested and placed in remand detention for 30 days on suspicion that he organized begging and trafficking in persons on the territory of the Russian Federation. This is suspected of forcing two persons to beg and of exploiting two children through forced begging, IPN reports.
According to the Prosecutor’s Office for Organized Crime and Special Cases, if he is found guilty, the man will serve 15 to 20 years or life in jail.
