Man suspected of mercilessly killing second child

A 27-year-old man who served nine years in jail for murdering a child aged four is suspected of killing a seven-year-old girl in Petresti village of Ungheni district, Info-Prim Neo reports. The suspect is the brother of the partner of the girl's mother. According to the Ministry of the Interior, the woman left the child in the care of the brother-in-law and went to work. When the girl fell asleep, the young man strangled her to death. He then called the police and an ambulance. The man was amnestied in 2008 after serving nine years. He now faces up to 25 years in prison.
