Man suspected of beastly murdering wife burying corpse in forest

A man from Cairaclia village, Taraclia district, is suspected of assassinating his wife and of burying the body in a nearby forest. The 38-year-old victim was a mother of three, Info-Prim Neo has learnt from the press service of the Domestic Affairs Ministry. The corpse was discovered on 8 July by a minor, who told the police. Only half of the woman's body was buried, as she had signs of violent death. According to the police, the main suspect is the victim's husband aged 41 who was taken in custody after 24 hours. After hesitating the suspect re-told the scenario of the murder. According to his statements, on 3 July, he was severely drunk. Suddenly a quarrel appeared between the spouses. The man beat his wife accusing her of sexual intercourse with other people, when he was working in Moscow. As a result the woman died. Earlier the suspected served three years of jail. If he is found guilty of “murdering a close relative,” he run the risk of being jailed for 25 years or life. The police have recorded 74 murders this year.
