Man suffers traumatic shock after falling from height of only 2.5 m

A Chisinau resident was taken to the hospital in a very serious condition after falling from an insignificant height. Doctor Coordinator of the Chisinau Emergency Hospital Anatol Proca has told Info-Prim Neo that the accident happened on Thursday at about 10.00 on a private building site. The 44-year-old man fell from a height of about 2.5 meters. The impact was severe as he hit his head on concrete. The man was admitted to the reanimation section of the Emergency Hospital in a traumatic shock of the second degree, concussion, fracture of the cranial bones and contusion of the thorax. While under the influence of alcohol, a man aged 43 living on Sucevita St stabbed himself with a knife in the region of the left hemithorax. Two unidentified men were transported to the hospital in alcoholic coma after taken from the street. Yesterday and last night, the ambulance doctors dealt with 687 calls.
